JP Donovan is honored to have been selected as the General Contractor for the LC-39B Flame Trench project at Kennedy Space Center.
This project will consist of construction of a new flame deflector and refurbishment of the flame trench at Kennedy Space Center, Florida for use in future launches of NASA’s new Space Launch System (SLS) rocket. The completed structure will deflect SLS exhaust away from the vehicle and protect structures above the launch pad surface. The SLS will be used to help send humans to deep-space destinations including an asteroid and Mars.
