JP Donovan Construction Appoints William “Bill” Deane as Chief Executive Officer
Appointment supports continued mission execution and growth for federal aerospace and defense clients
ROCKLEDGE, Fla. — January 21, 2026 — JP Donovan Construction, a Rockledge, Florida-based general contractor supporting federal and commercial clients with aerospace construction, heavy civil construction, industrial construction, engineering, and design-build services, announced today the appointment of William “Bill” Deane as Chief Executive Officer, effective January 5, 2026.
Deane was appointed by company Owner John Donovan and will lead the company’s strategic growth and operational execution in support of commercial aerospace clients and U.S. government agencies, including NASA, the U.S. Space Force, and the Department of Defense.
In close partnership with Owner John Donovan, Deane will align strategic direction with operational execution to support the company’s next phase of growth. Their collaboration will focus on scaling internal capabilities, strengthening systems and processes, and ensuring JP Donovan Construction maintains the agility, accountability, and performance culture that has defined the company’s success. Together, they will drive disciplined expansion while preserving the company’s commitment to client value, schedule certainty, and execution excellence.

Deane brings more than 22 years of experience in federal engineering and construction, with expertise spanning design-build delivery, civil infrastructure, and the operational leadership of high-complexity programs. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and is a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.).
