EES BASKET TESTING AT PAD 39B
FEBRUARY 2024 – The Artemis II Emergency Egress Baskets have been attached to the pilot lines at Pad 39B this week as they begin testing. The four baskets, fabricated in our Rockledge facility, are used in the case of a pad abort emergency. They will enable astronauts and other pad personnel a way to escape from the mobile launcher to the base of the pad safely and efficiently.
